Honoring the Memory of Those Who Gave All

As the Memorial Day weekend nears, let us look back over the years and remember those Marines that are no longer here. For some of us they were our childhood friends, for others the bond of friendship, comaraderie, and family began on the yellow footprints at MCRD San Diego, Parris Island, or the hills of OCS at Quantico. For almost 239 years, Marines have defended the best interests of our country at home and abroad. Remember the men and women who have fought and died for the freedoms and liberties that we indulge in everyday.

So when your securing your boat to your truck hitch and preparing to head to the lake, remember our Marines standing guard and presenting arms at the entrance of Heaven's gates.

Check out some of our memorial stories and images.

  1. Hello everyone, My name is Jane and I started a fundraiser for my father because he needs Stem Cell therapy and insurance doesn’t cover the cost. My father is John Obremski and a die hard Marine. His hand is suffering from frost bite and at 82 years old amputation is not the way we want to go. He is also Diabetic which means his bodies healing process is very slow. He’s doing HBO Therapy now but in conjunction with Stem Cell therapy we can save his hand and prolong his life. Please make any donation you can by August 9th so we can get the Stem Cell Therapy treatment. Thank you and Semper Fi! http://www.gofundme.com/e9z3wkgs
